A popular pub has suddenly closed down.
The Loch Fyne Restaurant and Bar in Ascot has confirmed its closure.
Owned and managed by Greene King, the pub situated on Windsor Road, Woodside, Ascot, surprised locals when moving lorries were spotted on Friday evening (May 26).
The next day the pub appeared permanently closed.
However, the pub has not made any changes to its website, giving the impression that it is still open causing confusion amongst customers.
The Bracknell News reached out to Greene King who confirmed the pub's closure.
A spokesperson on behalf of Loch Fyne said: “We have made the difficult decision to close our Ascot restaurant and would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support over the years.”
Loch Fyne's last day of trading was last Wednesday, May 24.
According to Greene King, staff at the Loch Fyne have all been offered positions at one of the group's other pubs in the area.
