A JAM-PACKED line up has been planned for five months of live music and tribute bands in Wokingham this summer.
Wokingham Music Club has announced the summer line up, with entertainment running from May to September.
On Friday, May 12, the Police Academy will be performing a tribute to the music of Sting and The Police.
A free outdoor cinema event is planned at Wokingham Open Air Cinema on Saturday, May 13. Visitors can enjoy ‘Pink Floyd Delicate Sound of Thunder’ at Dinton Pastures Country Park.
Party in the Park is being held at Elms Field on Saturday, June 3, with performances from Vogue Madonna, Midnight Soul Sisters, Majestix and Wild Boys.
Twyford Beer Festival are staging an open-air concert by Crazy Diamond on Thursday, June 8, which is the day before the beer festival begins.
On Friday, June 16, The Sounds of Simon: The music of Simon and Garfunkel will be showing at the Whitty Theatre.
City Funk Orchestra will be returning to Wokingham Music Club on Friday, June 30.
A spokesperson from the Music Club said: “It will be such a pleasure to have this band of very talented musicians return to our club.
“I am no dancer, but these guys have got me on my feet. If you like soul music, then this is the show for you.”
New York musician, Nell Bryden, will be visiting Wokingham as part of her UK tour on Friday, July 7.
Finally, Wokingham Festival is returning for the August bank holiday, with performances from Caravan, Funkin’ Souled Out and many more.
