Racegoers at Royal Ascot are set to see a Frankie Dettori themed hat to celebrate the jockey’s final race at the famous event.
Commissioned by bookmakers, Ladbrookes, it will be worn by The Saturday’s singer Una Healy and feature a golden figurine of Dettori.
The hat was made by couture milliner Ilda Di Vivo features the pink and green signature colours and pay tribute to his time as a jockey for Juddmonte.
Ilda Di Vivo said that she really enjoyed the creative challenge set by Ladbrookes which celebrates Frankie Dettori’s glorious career.
Una Healy says: “Hats off to Ladbrokes and Ilda Di Vico for my beautiful headpiece. Frankie Dettori has given us some many amazing moments throughout his career and I really wanted to pay homage to him ahead of his last ever Royal Ascot and this gorgeous hat certainly does that. It’s a real crowd-pleaser!”
