A POPULAR pub in Crowthorne has reopened its doors after a six-figure renovation.
Reopening on June 23, The Prince pub welcomed customers for its 'grand opening weekend' with fire dancers and quiz nights.
Located at the top of Crowthorne high street, the pub closed last month and has undergone a significant refresh, featuring major refurbishments to the pub’s interior and outdoor areas.
Jay Cutler, the general manager of the Prince said the pub is a “perfect home away from home”.
Inside, the pub has been redecorated, “creating a modern, sociable atmosphere” with seven TVs and sports area.
The bar has been upgraded and the lounge features a new seating arrangement and furniture, increasing the total number of covers inside to 100.
In addition to this, the back room is now available to book, with a capacity of 50-60 people.
Outside, the beer garden has been given a full makeover with new till points offering outdoor service and seating extended to accommodate more customers.
A brand-new pergola has also been added, complete with outdoor heating and a brand-new exterior TV and speakers.
“The renovation has brought a fantastic new energy to the pub, and with our improved facilities and exciting new sports area we’re really pleased to be able to offer our Crowthorne guests an even better drinking, dining and social experience”, Jay added.
The pub hosts a regular programme of events, including Rock ‘n’ Roll bingo every Thursday, weekly boardgame and quiz nights, group dog walks every Sunday from 10.30, and a mum & baby morning every Monday.
