An information event is to be held for local residents in need of financial advice.
As the cost-of-living pressures continue to impact households, many are seeking ways to save money and access additional local support.
In response to this, Bracknell Forest Council is collaborating with the Department for Work and Pensions to host a free Help for Households event, where residents will find a range of local financial support services available to them.
The 'help for households' information event is to be held on Friday, August 4 from 11.30am to 4pm at Princess Square, Bracknell Town Centre, RG12 1XW.
A host of local organisations will be taking part, including; Bracknell Foodbank, The Cowshed, The Ark, Home Start, Silva Homes, South East Water, Public health team (Bracknell Forest Council) and The Department for Work and Pensions.
Cllr Mary Temperton, leader of Bracknell Forest Council and executive member for council strategy and climate change, said: “We know that times are still tough, and the cost of living continues to affect households in the borough.
“There is help available and we are encouraging those who may be struggling to come and visit us at the Help for Households event this August.
“You may be entitled to support that you didn’t know about and can get advice from professionals across financial and health organisations.”
No referrals, casework, or direct support, such as food parcels, will be available during the event.
