BRISTOL Airport is inviting expressions of interest from potential partners to take part in a tendering process of bus services connecting Bristol and Weston with the airport.
It is hoped that the two bus partners would include the provision of round-the-clock bus services, for both passengers and staff members.
This includes to Bristol Marlborough Street Bus Station and Temple Meads station, and separately, Weston-super-Mare including Weston and Worle Stations.
The tender deadline for best and final submissions is 4pm on October 22, 2023.
The contract award date is on January 31, 2024, and the start date would be on April 30, 2024.
The contract term is yet to be determined.
Tom Hack, head of Commercial, Bristol Airport, said: “The preferred partners will be able to meet the needs of customers with a reliable, efficient service in a professional and hospitable manner.
"The potential partners would need to have demonstrable experience of operating a high-volume service in a fast paced and dynamic environment which can meet the expectations of customers and service standards of Bristol Airport.”
