A Sainsbury’s superstore has apologised for the inconvenience after customers found that they were unable to buy refridgerated products within the store.
Located on Bagshot Road, the supermarket is popular with many residents in the local Ringmead and Bracknell area.
As customers entered the store last night (28/9) they were surprised to find that the fridges had been covered and stripped of any food or fresh produce.
A notice posted on one of the fridges explained that this was due to issues they were experiencing with their refrigeration system.
The notice stated: “We are working very hard to solve the issue as soon as possible and bring back the products you love.
“Thank you for your patience and we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
A Sainsbury's spokesperson said, "Some products were temporarily unavailable at our Bagshot store yesterday. This was due to an issue with some of our fridges which has now been resolved. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank our customers for their patience."
