A school's regime has been praised by parents for improving their children's self-confidence.
Dozens have expressed support for Brakenhale School in Bracknell on social media in response to recent concerns raised.
As previously reported, students have hit out at the treatment that they have had to endure during the first month of the school year including the wearing of blazers in record-breaking heat.
One parent took to social networking site Facebook to ask others for their opinions on the school - and a large majority shared positive stories about the schoool.
Writing in response, one parent wrote: “My daughter joined last year – now in year 11 – and really likes the school.
“[She] massively prefers it to her old secondary school which isn’t around here. I think a lot of it is over-exaggerated, like the whole blazer thing when it was hot.”
Another added: “I have two children in year 11 and have had no major issues. I am ok with the rules and everything but I think they should improve the communication.”
While one woman wrote: “My daughter is in year 9, she loves all of her teachers and has had a love of positive input from the school. Her self-esteem has got so much better since she started.”
And one wrote: “My son is in year 7. I can see him becoming more responsible for himself.”
With another mum adding: “They can’t do enough to try and help my daughter.”
One woman wrote: “Our experience so far has been very positive. Good communication, easy to get responses to queries, great facilities and teaching staff and a passionate head teacher. Apparently the canteen food is grea too.”
And one mum wrote: “My daughter is in year 9. She is in the cadets and absolutely loves it. I believe Brackenhaleand it’s strict rules have really helped her focus and I couldn’t be happier.”
They added that the school had been “so supportive” following a family berevment.
