1. Man ‘has to shower in the yard’ amid dispute with Silva Homes
A man has been left showering in his yard after a dispute with social landlords Silva Homes over urgent repairs.
Jonathan Godsell, 49 of Priestwood, said he went without a shower for three months after delays getting rid of extensive mould and rot that he says left his wet room unusable.
But social landlord, Silva Homes, says it has attempted to fix the problems, but has found it difficult to get access to Mr Godsell's home.

2. Berkshire plots of land: Two sold in Reading and Wokingham
TWO lots of roadways and land in Berkshire have been sold at auction, one for just £10.
The auction took place on Wednesday (September 20) and saw 180 on offer in the latest auction held by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

3. B.O.B Salon stylists celebrated at 2023 Hair and Beauty awards
Two hair stylists from a popular Bracknell salon have been recognized at the 2023 British Hair and Beauty Awards.
On Monday, August 21, the online awards ceremony took place to to recognize and celebrate the crème de la crème of the hair and beauty industry.
B.O.B Salon had success on the night as both Adele Sylvester and Jodie Blackman walked away with silver awards on the night.

4. Good Beer Guide 2024 features popular Bracknell pub
An award-winning Bracknell pub, acclaimed for its high-quality real ale, has been featured in the 2024 CAMRA Good Beer Guide.
This comes as the UK’s best-selling beer and pub guide celebrates its 51st anniversary edition surveying 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK.
Published on Thursday, September 28, the Old Manor has gained a place in the book after local CAMRA members conducted regular visits to check the quality of the real ale and service.

5. Sainsbury's apologise after problems with refrigeration system
A Sainsbury’s superstore has apologised for the inconvenience after customers found that they were unable to buy refridgerated products within the store.
Located on Bagshot Road, the supermarket is popular with many residents in the local Ringmead and Bracknell area.
As customers entered the store last night (28/9) they were surprised to find that the fridges had been covered and stripped of any food or fresh produce.
