1. Crowthorne missing man, Martin, found dead after incident
A MAN reported missing from Crowthorne has been found dead after 'an incident' in Surrey.
Martin, 56, went missing at around 10.15am on Monday, October 9. Police released an appeal to find more information about his disappearance, stating they were concerned for his welfare.
He had access to a grey Volvo XC40 registration KX68MYR and was known to Crowthorne with connections with Ascot, but police believe he may have travelled to the Sandhurst area.

2. New stores opening in the Lexicon in 2023 including Five Guys
The Lexicon has welcomed a host of new shops and restaurants this summer as it takes a look back at the busy last few months.
Last week The Lexicon was met with the news that plans for The Deck had been scrapped, along with famous food chain Wimpy pulling out of opening the unit on Princess Square.
However, it isn't all bad news, with the Lexicon recounting the newest additions, renewed leases and "action-packed" events calendar.

3. Hope for new nightlife in Bracknell Forest Council's plan for future
An ambition to bring “new nighttime experiences” to Bracknell town centre is in the council’s plan for the future of the borough.
A draft of the plan says Bracknell Forest Council wants to “extend the success” of the regeneration of the town centre by improving leisure and nightlife in the town.
Many people came forward to say they want to see more nightlife in Bracknell town centre after news that plans to build The Deck on the former site of Bentalls were scrapped last week. The Deck would have provided space for bars and shops if it had gone ahead.

4. Huge new film studio could be built at Winnersh Triangle Business Park
A huge new film studio building with a “strong visual presence” at the Winnersh Triangle Business Park could soon get planning permission.
Film studio company Stage 50 wants permission to demolish two warehouses at the business park and replace it with a “sound stage” that can accommodate two studios.
If the plans are given the go-ahead, they would be the latest element of a project to build a new “creative quarter” at Winnersh Triangle. Wokingham Borough Council’s planning committee is set to make a decision on Wednesday, October 11.

5. Sandhurst Indian restaurant given 1 food hygiene rating
A Restaurant in Sandhurst, Bracknell Forest, has recently received the second lowest possible hygiene rating following an inspection.
Raj Tandoori, located at 366 Yorktown Road, Sandhurst, received a low 1 in a recent hygiene inspection, signifying major improvements are required.
The inspection carried out on August 22, 2023, evaluated the restaurant's overall hygiene standards and food practices.
