A gaming event is set to come to The Lexicon this week with an offering of favourites from retro games to the newest PS4 releases.
The Lexicon will be holding its first ever gaming event, GAME ON!, during October half term from Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 29.
Featuring thirteen gaming stations, the free event will take place in Princess Square.
Visitors can pre-book a two-hour slot and choose to play their favourite games or try something new.
Aimed at being suitable for the whole family, a range of consoles from NES to PS5, retro games such as Pac Man to the very latest releases such as FC24, will be available at the event.
On Saturday, October 28, Cineworld will host a free gaming day, so families can play video games on a cinema screen, with plenty of seats for friends and family to observe the action.
A Cineworld access pass can be collected when attending pre-booked gaming slots throughout the week and will be given on a first come first served basis, places will be limited.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon says: “We wanted to try something completely new and with the huge interest in gaming, thought that using friendly multiplayer games, will be a great way to bring people together.”
