LAPLAND UK will be returning to Bracknell Forest for another year offering visitors an immersive, magical, and spectacular Christmas experience right on your very doorstep.
The Winter spectacular, set in the beauty of Swinley Forest, began in 2007 when Mike and Alison Battle harnessed their creative skills to bring the immersive experience to life.
Every year, this attracts families from up and down the UK to experience the delight in the heart of the Berkshire countryside.
Tickets for the experience are so coveted that they sell out within days of being released. Although all the 2023 tickets are sold out, you can be added to a mailing list to find out about the 2024 ticket release.
For those who have been lucky enough to snag a ticket for the 2023 experience, you may have many questions prior to the day.
With thousands of people heading to Berkshire, it may also mean heavier traffic and more expensive hotel stays.
When is Lapland UK?
Saturday, November 11 until Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 25).
Where?
Whitmoor Forest. Swinley Forest, Ascot.
What is included during the experience?
The experience is fully immersive and aims to provide an 'authentic representation' of Father Christmas' Arctic homeland in the UK. Lasting around four hours, the Lapland day trip involves interactive sessions in the Enchanted Forest, Toy Factory and Mother Christmas Kitchen.
The ticket includes four hours of performances and activities for kids (or Small Folk). This includes helping the toy factory elves make a toy for Father Christmas’ sleigh, decorating gingerbread with Mother Christmas, ice-skating and a personalised visit with Father Christmas.
Each ticket holder will get a complimentary souvenir photo per booking.
A toy factory toy will be discretely handed to the adult before leaving to present to the ‘small folk’ on Christmas day.
Many families across the UK choose to travel down to Ascot from further afield.
