THE sentencing of a man charged with intentional strangulation and beating has been postponed as he was not told about the hearing.
Rashad Salim, 35, was due to be sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (November 9).
He has been charged with one count of intentional strangulation of a man in Wokingham on January 27 this year, as well as one count of assault by beating and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

However, Salim did not attend court as he was not informed about the sentencing date due to a lack of a defence barrister.
