A PAEDOPHILE has been jailed for one year after breaching a sexual harm prevention order put in place in 2017.
Dean Bannan, of Oldstead, Bracknell, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday (November 24) for three counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order and one count of failing to with notification requirements.
The 47-year-old was caught breaching the order between May 1, 2022 and September 14, 2023 by being in possession of two mobile phones without notifying a police officer.

He was also caught with a TikTok account which is used to contact 13-year-old girls.
On August 8 this year, Bannan also failed to tell police he had a new passport.
After pleading guilty to all four offences, Bannon was committed for sentence where Judge Turner handed him a 12-month sentence.
He said: “This was a deliberate breach. However, I don’t find it points to a very serious breach, though it was over a significant period of time - it’s far from being a minor breach.”
Bannon will serve half of his sentence in custody before being released on licence.

The original sexual harm prevention order will remain in place.
A forfeiture and destruction has been made for the mobile phones.
