Residents of Bracknell and Wokingham have been advised of changes to their bin collections during the upcoming festive period.
There will be changes to collection days over Christmas and New Year across the borough to allow workers to enjoy time with their families.
Food, recycling and refuse collections will resume as normal from Monday, January 15.
Collections in Bracknell and Wokingham will be two working days later than usual in the week after Christmas Day.
Residents whose bins would normally be collected on Christmas Day will now be collected on Wednesday, December 27.
Tuesday, December 26 will be collected on Wednesday, December 28.
Wednesday, December 27 will be collected on Thursday, December 29.
Thursday, December 28 will be collected on Friday, December 30.
Friday, December 29 will be collected on Tuesday, January 2.
There will be no collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
From Monday, January 8, refuse collections will be one day later than usual.
Normal collections will resume on Monday 15 January 2024.
Wokingham residents are urged to put their bags out the night before on three Saturdays through the holidays (December 30, January 6 and January 13) to avoid collections being missed.
This is due to the 5:30 am start for collections across the two boroughs.
