Christmas has officially started in Bracknell town's centre with many people turning up to the opening ceremony to welcome in the festive season.
Councillor Naheed Ejaz Mayor of Bracknell Forest attended the opening and took part in the light switch on to illuminate the huge Christmas tree.
The Christmas tree sits in the centre of the Lexicon, and is enjoyed by many each year, thoroughly contributing to the festive spirit within the town.
A tweet sent out by Bracknell Forest Council paid tribute to the annual event, acknowledging its importance in welcoming Christmas to the town.
It showed a picture of the Mayor standing next to the large button ready to switch on the twinkling lights that adorn the large tree.
There were also pop up bands and choirs singing that performed throughout the day, and multiple stalls that many took advantage of to get in some early Christmas shopping.
