Bracknell Forest Council has said its staff are ‘very busy’ clearing roads due to high winds brought by Storm Henk – as trees have been reported blocking roads.
In an update posted to X (formerly Twitter) the council said a large tree was blocking the A329 London Road in Winkfield between the Mercedes car dealership and the Royal Foresters pub.
And X user Fred Partington alerted the council to another fallen tree, which he says has fallen on Forest Road in North Ascot, near Alcoves furniture shop.
Bracknell Forest Council said its crews were working hard to get London Road open, and asked Mr Partington to report the tree on Forest Road to the council’s website.

"Our crews are working hard to get the road back open. Thank you for your understanding while our crews work in these difficult conditions.”
It told Mr Partington: “Please report any fallen trees to the following link, our Teams are very busy right now and will try their best to clear due to the high winds this afternoon.”
