A body has been pulled from the River Thames.
Thames Valley Police have confirmed they have found a body in the search for missing man Mark Hamilton, aged 57, from Winkfield.
Mark was reported missing on January 17 and police released several appeals asking for the public's help in finding him.
However, it has now been confirmed that a man’s body was found in the River Thames near Cuckoo Weir Island off Meadow Lane, Eton, at around 1.45pm on Sunday, February 4.
The body has been formally identified and Mark's family have been informed.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Our thoughts and sympathies are with his loved ones at this extremely difficult time.
"We are carrying out enquiries into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeals to find Mark."
