A MAN will go on trial next year accused of seriously injuring another person in a collision in Finchampstead.
David Vaughan, 55, of College Town, Sandhurst, appeared before Reading Crown Court this morning (February 6).
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
This is in relation to an incident on February 13, 2023.
The prosecution alleges that Vaughan ran his Volkswagen Tiguan into another motorist along Wellingtonia Avenue.
The road in question is lined with rare Sierra redwood trees, and is a noted site of natural beauty.
A trial date in the case has been set for January 6, 2024.
