Nominations are open for Community Champions at this year’s Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday, May 12, 2024 and for its 40th anniversary, the organisers, Everyone Active in partnership with Bracknell Forest Council, are looking for locals to nominate a Community Champion as a way of showcasing the unsung heroes of Bracknell Forest.
In celebration of four decades of running, camaraderie, and community spirit, the Bracknell Half Marathon is honouring this special occasion by offering 40 free places to Community Champions.
Champions can be nominated for a variety of reasons.
From those who dedicate their time and effort to uplifting others through charity work or small acts of kindness to those who have made significant contributions to local sports, arts, education or any area that benefits the local community, any individual who has made a positive impact in the Bracknell Forest community can be nominated.
