A number of red flood warnings have been released across Berkshire with the government advising homeowners to be vigilant and take precautions if necessary.
The current flood warnings in place are as follows:
River Lambourn from Donnington to Newbury
Property flooding is possible. River levels are high but falling slowly on the River Lambourn following recent rain. Flooding of roads and low lying land is expected to continue today, February 27, and flooding of properties remains possible in the Shaw Road and Newport Road areas.
River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne and Sulham Brook
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high but steady along the River Pang and the Sulham Brook. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue.
Today and tomorrow are forecast to be mainly dry with a few light rain showers tomorrow afternoon.
River Kennet from Thatcham down to Reading
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high on the River Kennet. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
River Thames from Pangbourne to Purley
Property flooding is expected.
A Flood Warning is in force for the River Thames at Purley.
River levels are high and out of banks along the River Thames following recent rainfall. Flooding of low-lying land, roads and property is expected to continue over the coming days.
River Thames at Purley Village
Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but now falling slowly on the River Thames at Purley. Flooding of low lying land, roads and property is expected to continue today.
River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning
Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high and out of banks along the River Thames in response to recent heavy rainfall and water moving downstream. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue over the coming days.
Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence at Twyford
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the River Loddon following a period of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
Lower River Loddon
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the River Loddon, following a period of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore flooding of low lying land and roads remains possible today.
River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave
Property flooding is expected.
River levels remain high but are falling on the Thames. Isolated property flooding, in addition to flooding of low-lying land and roads, is expected, especially in the Basmore Lane, Bolney Road, and Loddon Drive areas.
River Thames for Henley, Remenham, and Medmenham
Property flooding is possible.
River levels have risen on the Thames as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, isolated property flooding, in addition to flooding of low-lying land and roads is possible, especially in the Mill Lane, Ferry Lane and Wargrave Road areas.
River Thames from Hurley to Cookham
Property flooding is not currently expected in the Hurley and Marlow areas. River levels remain high on the River Thames in response to recent heavy rainfall.
Colne Brook at Iver and Colnbrook
River levels are high on the Colne Brook; Colne (Lower).
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
No further rainfall is forecast.
No further flooding to fields and roads is expected, however there may be standing water seen for several days.
River Thames from Datchet to Shepperton Green
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the River Thames following recent rainfall. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
Chertsey Bourne
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the Chertsey Bourne following a period of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
