Children living at the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy could soon get a new playground and upgraded basketball courts if Bracknell Forest Council grants approval.
The academy wants to install a ‘forest trail’ of balancing, swinging and climbing equipment on a housing estate towards the rear of the academy’s campus.
And an existing football and basketball court will get an upgrade with a ‘sports wall’ of panels that balls can be bounced off.
If approved the new trail would be built at the intersection Range Ride and Woodside on the grounds of the military academy, provided by play equipment Kompan.
The application is pending a decision by Bracknell Forest Council planning officers.
