A Wokingham man has been found guilty of stealing over £1,500 of goods from a Co-op store - and of assault.
Michael Campion, 37, of Budges Road, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on March 19.
He pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating, and indicated guilty pleas ten theft offences.
The thefts took place between July and December 2023.
They all targeted a Co-op branch in Wokingham.
Among the items Campion made off with was food and baby products - all to the total of just under £1,600.
On December 13 last year, the defendant also beat a man in the town.
A sentencing hearing will take place at a later date.
