A secondary school in Bracknell boasts an unusual means of getting children reading.
King’s Academy Easthampstead Park (KAEP) in Bracknell have a book vending machine for their students.
Introduced in July 2023, the machine has been a great success, stocked with help of Warfield Park.
To mark its second year executive director of Warfield Park, James Sumner, met KAEP students to mark the restock of the vending machine.
Mr Sumner said: "I am delighted that the donation we provided last year to offer books for the book vending machine at KAEP has proved to be popular with the students.
“By providing a wide array of books, we not only offer valuable resources but also an opportunity to ignite curiosity and a passion for learning.
Warfield Park’s support of the school’s book reading campaign will continue, as will the close relationship that has developed.
Mr Sumner added: “Each book has the potential to unlock new worlds, inspire creativity, and foster a lifelong love for reading and learning."
