A High Street pub has hit the market as Greene King searches for a new operator to take on the venture.
The Crowthorne Inn hit the market earlier this month, with Greene King stating: "We are searching for an experienced operator who can run a town drinking house, promote the sports scene, and create the community feel."
The pub features two bars and boasts a community feel. It is known to attract both young people and a more mature clientele.
While the current tenants do not offer food, a galley kitchen could be used to provide food offerings for office workers and shoppers alike.
Greene King hopes the new operator will have a "strong personality" and experience in running a town drinking house.
It is hoped the pub's sports offering will continue, as it is considered "crucial to success".
The pub costs £36,000 to rent annually (£692 per week) and has an estimated turnover of £494,150.
Graeme Marley, Business Development Manager, said: "An experienced operator who can run a town drinking house, promote the games scene and create the community feel would be the ideal fit for this pub. There is an opportunity to create a value-driven food offer, which would work well at lunchtimes."
