A popular Bracknell pub has announced that it will be closing temporarily due to a major refurbishment this month.
The Golden Retriever, located on the Nine Mile Ride, is a traditional English pub renowned for its cozy atmosphere and dog-friendly vibe.
The pub announced to its customers on social media that it is closing its doors for over a month to make changes to the interior.
The pub said in an email to customers: “We’re closing our doors on 8/04/2024 so we can make some changes! It won’t be too long before all of us at The Golden Retriever will be welcoming you back to your favorite retreat. We’ll be opening again from 13/05/2024.”
The team at the Golden Retriever posted on their social media prior to the closure on April 6 saying: “Come and have your last pint with us before we close our doors for refurbishment. The boys will be waiting!"
