The construction of the exciting new sports pavilion at Lock’s Ride is underway, ready to offer a host of facilities to local Winkfield residents.
Despite weather delays earlier this year, developers have announced that the project which has been under consideration since 2019 is back on schedule.
The new Pavilion at Locks Ride Recreation Ground is an eagerly anticipated project and follows the closure of the previous pavilion in 2019.
The new sports pavilion will offer a range of amenities, including two changing rooms, two officials’ rooms, WCs/DDA WCs, a small kitchenette, a community room, communal space, and plant and storage facilities.
SBUK Group said: “We're thrilled to see the progress of the new Sports Pavilion at Locks Ride for Winkfield Parish Council! 175mm SIP panels are used for the walls and roof, creating a seamless and highly efficient structure. This truly showcases the numerous benefits of using SIP panels in construction.
We can't wait to see the final result and the positive impact it will have on Winkfield Parish Council and its community. Keep up the excellent work!
So far, the groundwork and water drainage systems have been successfully completed. Concrete slabs have been installed to support the building’s flooring. The next stage in the development is the installation of the flooring and roof.
