A Bracknell old school street dance crew has gone viral on TikTok after a video of their peformance was leaked online.
Cash Money Brothers - also known as the CMB Crew – are made up of several men who have been bringing their unique style of dancing to club audiences since the 90s.
Following the success and numerous positive reactions from their original leaked video, Ricky Smith and the other members of the CMB Crew decided to take to TikTok to showcase their skills.
“It’s been absolutely crazy these past six months,” Ricky explained. “We’ve frequented the Apres Nightclub @ Coppid Beech Hotel and other pubs in the area for years. It’s just a fun way to relax and have fun with friends after a busy week. We never thought it would take off like it has.
“It first started when someone took a video of us at the Apres Nightclub at the Coppa Beach Hotel one Saturday night and put it on TikTok and suddenly people were saying that it had reached over 1.8 Million views and shares.
“When we started our own TikTok, the first post was viewed over half a million times and it’s just got crazier.”
The crew specialises in dances that combine a mix of choreographed routines and freestyle dance moves. Their love of dance has drawn people from across the world to watch their contagious energy.
The dance act has garnered hundreds of positive comments from viewers from all over the world.
Ricky added: “We love to dance and if what we do can make even just one person smile it’s even better. We just want to spread good vibes and remind people that you don’t have to give anything up to do what you love.
“Of course, there are people who say that we’re too old to be out dancing at clubs or we shouldn’t be dancing in our 40s and 50s, but I don’t get it.
“Most of the comments we get however are positive and it’s so nice to hear that we are doing something to make people smile.”
The crew has begun to appear at a variety of events and venues across the country where they are often recognised by fans.
