Hundreds of excited runners will be taking to the streets of Bracknell today (12/5) to take part in the 40th annual Bracknell Half-Marathon.
Sponsored by The Lexicon, the renowned half marathon course will take runners through the heart of Bracknell.
Much of the route will be on roads, footpaths and cycleways, however there will be a short section of grass running for participants to contend with.
The race will start at 8:45am and 13 different roads will close between the hours of 8:35am and 11:30am. These will either be hard closures or soft closures.
A hard road closure means that no traffic will be permitted to pass along the closure route specified for the times shown above.
A soft road closure means that the road closure will be in place for the times shown but traffic may be permitted to pass at the operator’s discretion should it be deemed safe to do so.
