Several drivers across Bracknell and Wokingham have received warnings after careless and inconsiderate driving at a car meet last weekend.

Thames Valley Police officers attended the car meet at Thames Valley Business Park and Winnersh Triangle on Sunday, May 26 after reports from members of the public.

Despite receiving a ‘warm welcome’ from a majority of the motorists at the meet, police said that there were 10-15 drivers that were driving in an ‘anti-social manner’.

Bracknell and Wokingham TVP posted on their social media warning people about the consequences of disruptive driving.

Wokingham North NHPT Officers said: “Officers engaged with participants of the car meet and we were met with a warm welcome from a majority of motorists and we would like to thank you for this.

“There were 10-15 drivers who were driving in an anti-social manner, these drivers will be receiving a section 59 warning in the post. If you are attending these car meets, don't ruin it for everyone else that is attending.”

A Section 59 warning concerns vehicles being used in a manner that causes alarm, distress or annoyance.
