A cafe with free parking has been called "a hidden gem" by visitors.

Mill Park Cafe, which is a short drive from Bracknell town centre, has received a number of good reviews despite not being among the county's most popular or well-known.

On Tripadvisor, the cafe has received an average rating of 4.5 stars and has been recognised as a great spot for the lovely scenery and pond views.

It was also praised for its delicious food and value for money.

One person who lives around the area said: "First time at Mill Park Cafe and food was lovely. My Husband had a sausage bap while I had egg and mushrooms on toast.

"Sat by the window looking out to Mill Pond. Lovely scenery, lovely food and lovely customer service. Will most definitely go again."

Another visitor said: "Been to this cafe a few times and each time it’s been a great experience. Orders are taken swiftly & your food comes just as fast. Hot tasty & very filling."

A tourist who was visiting the area and decided to check out Mill Pond said: "What a gem called here for breakfast and not disappointed.

"Met the most wonderful staff so friendly and accommodating. Ate a really well cooked small plate breakfast which was cooked to perfection along with coffee.

"This is a lovely cafe set beside a pond and any money you pop in the charity pot goes to buy food for the ducks and birds. So cute. It is so homely and spotlessly clean. The bathroom facilities are also very clean."
