Thames Valley Police have released an appeal in their search for a specific witness following a rape in Bracknell.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 13 between 10pm and 11:59pm near Great Hollands Road's junction with Holbeck.
A short time before the incident, the victim spoke to a man in a dark car, who stopped to ask if she was ok as she appeared intoxicated.
The victim declined help and the member of the public drove off.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Rachel Pithers said: “I am appealing for a specific witness to please come forward.
“We have been conducting a thorough investigation following this incident and have made an arrest.”
A man from Bracknell has been arrested on suspicion of rape and has since been released on conditional bail.
Police are also appealing to anyone else who may have witnessed this happening.
