A Slough Facebook Marketplace seller is trying to flog their unique and ‘rare’ 50p coin collection for £10,000.
The seller is among the many on the buying and selling platform trying to sell their limited edition 50p coins for more than face value.
The popularity of this on platforms like Ebay and Facebook Marketplace has gone up exponentially as the first of King Charles III 50p coins were released to the public.
Everyone is being encouraged to check their change for an “extra-special” 50p coin that tops the Royal Mint’s list of its rarest coins.
The seller's collection of 40 50p coins includes two of the special King Charles III coins.
This collection also contains some of the most exclusive and limited edition 50p’s that have been created through the years for a variety of different events.

The seller, Eddy Fazal said: “Ideally would like to sell as lot, would consider selling individually.
“Some of these coins are listed for ridiculous amounts individually here. Recently sold examples of this collection total £9581.”
