A man caught drug-driving at Reading has been disqualified from driving for a year.
Marcus Williamson, 38, of Glendevon Road, Woodley, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on April 30 this year.
This was in relation to an incident on November 2, 2023.
Williamson drove a BMW on the A4 Bath Road at Reading.
He was stopped by police, and subjected to drug testing.
A cannabis by-product was detected in Williamson's system.
On the basis of this, Williamson was charged was drug-driving - an offence to which he pleaded guilty.
Magistrates disqualified him from driving for a year.
He was also handed a £169 fine, and must pay a £68 victim surcharge and £85 in prosecution costs.
This brings the total amount of costs and fines owed by Williamson to the court to £322.
