A popular Wokingham pub has closed temporarily as it undergoes a six-figure refurbishment project.
The Three Frogs pub, located on London Road, is a spacious, traditional pub dating back to the 18th century, with a comfort food menu and a beer garden.
The establishment closed on Sunday, June 9 as owners complete a major revamp of the interior and exterior, including the beer garden.
This makeover will also feature a brand-new menu to compliment the improvements being made throughout the premises.
The Three Frogs Pub is described as the ‘heart and soul’ of Wokingham.
Whether you just want to pop down for a drink with friends or enjoy a beautiful meal, the staff is ready for everything.
The re-opening is expected to go ahead in mid-July, following the major six-figure investment by Greene King.
The pub alerted punters on their social media about the temporary closure, at the beginning of June.
They said: “We’ll be saying goodbye for a little while as we make some exciting changes here at The Three Frogs.
“Keep checking here for updates on the changes and the plans for our exciting relaunch events. Lucy and The Three Frogs Team can’t wait to welcome you back in July.”
This is the second pub in Wokingham which is currently under construction ahead of an exciting Summer opening.
