THE FINAL countdown is on to Heritage Live’s huge outdoor summer concerts taking place at Berkshire’s beautiful Englefield Estate.

The outdoor concert series is back with Madness taking to the stage on July 19, Pete Tong Ibiza Classics on July 20, Elbow on July 21, and Flackstock returning to the Berkshire venue on July 22.

Kicking off the weekend, Madness will be putting on a show teeming with hits from the nutty boys’ unrivalled back catalogue along with songs from the new album ‘Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est la Vie’, which on Friday became the band’s first studio album to top the UK Album Charts.

With their huge singles such as ‘One Step Beyond’, ‘Baggy Trousers’, ‘House of Fun’, ‘Our House’, and more, Madness have become one of the most celebrated British bands of all-time since their emergence from Camden Town in the 1970s. Amongst many awards the band have received, in 2000 they were awarded an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection. The show will see them joined by special guests Lightning Seeds and the Old Time Sailors.

Moving into Saturday, July 20, revered DJ, broadcaster and global dance music legend, Pete Tong will bring his Ibiza Classics show to Englefield. Joined by Jules Buckley and featuring the Essential Orchestra, Ibiza Classics has firmly cemented itself as part of the live music calendar becoming the world’s most iconic orchestral electronic music event. Celebrating the legacy of dance music, the live show showcases the stunning re-imaginings of timeless classic house tracks.

Combining unique orchestration with unparalleled electronic production, ravers rejoice as it is set to be the party of the year reminiscent of the White Isle and its musical history!

Pete Tong will be joined by very special guests The Grid, who are re-uniting their full, original line-up for the first time in over 20 years for this exclusive UK performance.

For Sunday, July 21, Elbow will headline the stage at Englefield. The multi-platinum-selling band fronted by Guy Garvey, will perform a selection of their biggest anthems along with new material from their recently released album, ‘Audio Vertigo’.

Elbow are undoubtedly one of Britain’s most loved and respected bands. After earning early support from the late John Peel with their debut EP Noisebox, elbow’s popularity soared. Over the past two decades, the Mancunians have released numerous no.1 albums, most notably their 2008 Mercury Prize-winning effort ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, a multi-platinum selling record that opened the floodgates for further accolades, including an NME Award, Mojo Award, BRIT Award and a several Ivor Novello prizes.

Following a huge weekend for the Berkshire estate, Flackstock is also set to return for its third year, on Monday, July 22. The day festival celebrates the life of TV’s Caroline Flack with comedy, dance and musical acts, whilst raising critical funds for mental health charities. Artists gracing the stage for this year’s event include Olly Murs, Chesney Hawkes, Rebecca Ferguson, Tom Walker, plus lots more.
