A charity golf day at Downshire Golf Complex last Friday raised an impressive £3,695 for Dementia UK.
The event, on June 14, was organised by the site's operator, Everyone Active, and saw 120 golf enthusiasts, including customers and staff, participate.
Simon Cottee, General Manager at Downshire Golf Complex said: "We were thrilled to host such a successful event for Dementia UK.
"The turnout from our employees, customers and the local community was overwhelming, and their generosity will make a real difference in supporting those affected by Dementia."
The winning team, the "Moore Hens" from Moore Park Golf Club, were the first all-female team to take top spot.
Alongside the golf, auctions and raffles also contributed to the substantial amount raised.
The event is part of Everyone Active's two-year partnership with the charity, which has so far resulted in £125,000 raised to support their vital work.
