A man has been fined almost £1,000 after being caught driving nearly three times over the drink-drive limit.
Vitalii Morgulets, 40, of Pendlebury, Bracknell, was stopped by police near Bracknell Leisure Centre.
He was subject to a roadside breath test, which he failed.
The proportion of alcohol detected - 88µg in 100 millilitres of breath - exceeded the legal limit of 35µg almost three times over.
Morgulets appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on April 23, 2024.
There, he pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge.
On this basis, Morgulets was disqualified from driving for from driving for a year and 10 months.
This is to be reduced by 22 weeks upon completion of an accredited course.
In addition, Morgulets must pay a £576 fine, £85 in court costs and a £230 victim surcharge.
In total, the defendant therefore owes £891 in fines and costs to the court.
