A new restaurant and bar is set to open in the heart of Crowthorne next year after a multi million pound investment

The venture from Hall & Woodhouse (H&W), an independent family-owned brewer, promises to deliver a two-storey culinary hotspot with a capacity for 150 seated customers.

In addition to serving apptiising meals and beverages, the establishment will create 40 full-time jobs benefitting the local community.

The works for the upcoming H&W Crowthorne venue are currently underway and will be positioned as a gateway building to the new residential Buckler's Park estate.

This estate borders the sprawling 102 hectares of Buckler's Forest, a Forestry Commission site.

In a bid to cater to various experiences, the purpose-built premises will feature five multi-functioning spaces.

These include a bar, a pantry/café for lighter bites and beverages, a dining area, an expansive outdoor terrace, and a spacious garden.

Explaining the vision - Property Director of Hall & Woodhouse, Mark James said, "At Hall & Woodhouse we are driven by innovation and passionate about providing a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the local setting and its heritage."

He shared further insights into the design drawing inspiration from its surroundings, "Guests can expect to see plenty of green throughout.

"We'll have lots of plants, stylistic artwork, colourful soft furnishings, and exposed brick walls.

"Hall & Woodhouse Crowthorne will have a contemporary style, but with a warm feel and lots of colour and character."

The design accommodates guests for varied occasions at any time of the day, be it relaxed coffee meet-ups or grand family celebrations enhanced with diverse locally sourced dishes.

Mark also explained: "We are especially looking forward to guests enjoying a drink on our year-round terrace – whether that’s a pot of tea, cocktails, or a pint of our delicious Badger beer."

Hall and Woodhouse has promised that sustainability will lie at the heart of H&W Crowthorne.

This will include solar roof panels which will generate enough green energy to power the building's heating system.

The venue will also equip LED lighting, incorporate sustainable waste disposal systems, upcycled materials and furniture, and ample outdoor bike parking facilities.
