Families across Sunningdale and the local parish council have expressed their excitement following the opening of the brand-new play area and recreation ground.
The junior playground at Broomhall Recreation Ground has been undergoing construction to improve facilities and pathways for locals.
Following a significant delay due to wet weather, the play area and footpath to the station have been officially opened.
The play area consists of slides, climbing frames, and a zip line for kids to enjoy. A basketball net and court is also available at the recreation ground for older children.
The footpath which will take walkers from the park to the station consists of a footbridge and beautiful decking over the brook.
Sunningdale Parish Council said: “Thank you for your patience while this area has been closed. We hope you enjoy using the new equipment!”
