Golden Invitations have been secretly tucked away in a limited number of LaplandUK's advent calendars, inviting children to the sold-out 2024 Christmas experience.

The announcement of the calendars, made on LaplandUK's Instagram page, sparked a fan frenzy as the much sought after live experience at Father Christmas's workshop was fully booked in less than three hours in March.

Along with these golden tickets, the Small Folk, as they are affectionately known, will find in their calendar an augmented reality 'Elfie' moment, adding to the anticipation with a new message each day.

A fan known as @la_dolce_vita_11 gushed over the Instagram announcement: "Just look at that detail.

"Children are only little for a short time...these type of things add to those Xmas memories which will last a lifetime."

Designed in collaboration with Susan Lucas, the brains behind the Fortnum & Mason and Liberty calendars, the LaplandUK calendar also houses a 'Sleeps To Christmas' countdown clock, which Small Folk can eagerly tick down each morning.

Director of Brand & Product at LaplandUK, Matt Battle, said: "We wondered what would happen if we could create a single physical product that fully encapsulated everything that LaplandUK stands for.

"The Lapland 'Sleeps until Christmas' Advent is that product."

Each calendar will retail at an early bird price of £39.95, with a family sharing option available for an extra £10.

With the countdown to Christmas begun, many children will be hoping the LaplandUK advent calendar is under their tree.

Their wait to open the first door on their advent calendar has just gotten more tantalising.
