A new health clinic has opened at Nuffield Health Wokingham.
Following the official opening by Joshua Zeller, Great British Athlete and founder Wokingham Club members Peter and Margaret Royle, the new health clinic will be offering a number of different health assessments which focus on engendering a preventative health lifestyle.
Nuffield General Manager Susie Barret said: “We have identified a real need for this type of facility in Wokingham and plan to offer several different lifestyle, medical and non-invasive tests. Our health assessments allow you to understand how to take control of your health – discussing potential issues whilst also reinforcing good behaviours.
"However, if further tests are required, our doctors can refer you to the relevant health experts; both privately or via the NHS.”
In addition to its fitness centres Nuffield Group is one of the largest healthcare charities in the UK, operating 35 Hospitals and a network of Health Centres across the UK.
