A man has been sentenced to five years for historic child sex offences after a Thames Valley Police investigation.
Aidan Treglown, 31, from Cornwall, was handed his sentence at Reading Crown Court on July 9 following an eight-day trial.
The offences took place between 2004 and 2008 in Finchampstead.
The jury delivered their unanimous verdict on April 24, finding Treglown guilty of one count of sexual assault of a child under 13.
He was also found guilty by majority jury verdict of one count of sexual assault of a child under 13 and rape of a child.
These convictions came after Treglown pleaded guilty to two counts each of sexual assault of a child under 13 and causing/inciting a child to under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
He, however, was acquitted of two counts each of sexual assault by penetration of a child under 13, sexual assault by touching of a child under 13 and one count of rape of a child.
Alongside his five-year prison term, Treglown will be on the sex offenders register for life, and have restraining orders against his victims.
He was also granted a sexual harm prevention order for ten years.
Treglown was charged by postal requisition on April 1 last year.
Detective Constable Adele Shaw, the investigating officer, said: "Aidan Treglown has now been held to account for the abhorrent offences against a child."
She commended the courage of the victim in reporting the abuse and affirmed Thames Valley Police's commitment to prosecuting perpetrators involved in child sexual offences.
DC Shaw further encouraged any individual in danger to dial 999 and said: "If you want to report offences, no matter what the passage of time, you can do so via our website or by calling 101.
"There is further information on our website on how to report as well as advice and support on what to do if you’ve been a victim or witnessed child abuse."
