Bracknell Forest council have released a list of tips and tricks to keep little ones safe this summer if you are planning on setting up a paddling pool.
A spokesperson for Bracknell Forest Council said "Have the paddling pool out for after school?Follow these simple steps to keep your little ones safe."
Their tips included to never leave children unattended even for the shortest time. always Check the temperature of the water so it’s not too cold or warm and put the paddling pool in the shade to avoid getting burnt.
They also said to take care getting in and out, the grass may be slippery. Take all toys out after use so there is no temptation to go back in when unattended and remember to use sunscreen to protect skin.
Finally, Bracknell Forest Council reminded its residents to have fun whilst using the paddling pool, but do remember to stay safe!
