Bracknell Forest contains some of the most picturesque houses across Berkshire.

With the vast array of neighbourhoods situated across the borough, a limited budget doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice.

Professional fast sales company, Property Solvers, have tracked the sold price data of houses over the last five years to rank where the highest and lowest priced homes are located.

Despite being one of the most expensive places to live, nowhere in the Bracknell Forest has an average sale price of over £1 million with more than three sales.

The three highest-value streets throughout Bracknell are Goughs Lane, Golden Orb Wood and Bedfordshire Down.

The most expensive streets seem to lie between Bracknell, Warfield and Binfield parishes.

In Goughs Lane, the price of the average house over the last five years has been £970,937. Four homes have been sold on the street in the time.

Golden Orb Wood, in Binfield has seen three new owners welcomed to the neighbourhood with an average sale price of £871,537.

Also Bedfordshire Down (RG42) saw 3 properties sell for an average of £791,666.

These streets are often found in the countryside where the homes are significantly bigger and grander that any seen in the centre of Bracknell town.

Some of the cheapest residential streets in Bracknell include Mount Lane, Winterbourne Court and Mount Lane.


Some of the cheapest streets include Mount Lane (RG12 9EB) , Winterbourne Court (RG12 9FW) and Mount Lane (RG12 9EA) where house prices go as low as £107,833.

Winterbourne Court, which is the second cheapest street in Bracknell Forest has had 11 home sales in the last five years with an average sale price of £121,681

Commenting on the data Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.”  

“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Priory Lane (RG42) sold for £1,415,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £101,200 and under on Winterbourne Court (RG12), Harmans Water Road (RG12) and Cardew Court (RG12),” he concludes.
