Wokingham Town Council has commended a local theatre group for putting on a wonderful show for families and children.
Theatre in the Park was back this year with a brand new family show “Jack and the Beanstalk” adapted and performed by Bart Lee Theatre.
The performance took place on Saturday, August 3 and saw a great turn out with dozens of people joining to watch the theatrical performance.
A spokesperson for Wokingham Borough Council posted a number of photographs of people enjoying the show and the actors in their costumes.
They posted the pictures along with the following caption:
"Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday at Theatre in the Park in Elms Field!
"We had a great time watching Jack and the Beanstalk in the sunshine and we hope you did too!
"If you came along and have any feedback, we'd love to hear it."
