A Sunningdale-based garden designer, will be captivating thousands of BBC Gardeners' World Autumn Fair attendees with her stunning Beautiful Border display.

The event is set to take place at Audley End House and Gardens in Essex from August 30 to September 1.

Amy Drewitt is a student at the British Academy of Garden Design.

Her Beautiful Border, entitled 'The Daisy Chain,' draws inspiration from treasured childhood memories of family gardens.

This miniature show garden, packed with innovative design ideas and planting strategies, typifies the Beauty Border displays, always a favourite at BBC Gardeners' World events.

This year's theme, 'Share My Space,' underscores gardening's ability to solidify community bonds.

Discussing her design, Amy said: "The ‘Share my Space’ theme spoke to me about how the garden is often a family space and yet children’s outdoor toys and play equipment are largely plastic, ugly, and bad for the environment.

"I wanted to create a space where all members of the family feel encouraged to explore and play in a way that feels both natural and magical."

Lucy Tremlett, Head of Horticultural Division at Immediate Live, the event organisers, expressed her anticipation for visitors to see the Beautiful Borders.

She said: "Whether you’re an old hand at gardening or a complete beginner, the Autumn Fair is the perfect place for garden inspiration, expert tips and advice, and the odd plant or two!"

Organisers promise a day of enlightening garden tours, hands-on workshops, engaging entertainment, plentiful shopping and delicious food for attendees.
