A local band with many talented musicians playing among its cohort saw a great turnout at their last event.
The Blue Sky Big Band recently performed for Sunny Saturday in Wokingham on July 27 and multiple members said that the performance went very well.
A spokesperson for the band even revealed that the mayor came to watch them, and even demanded an encore after they had finish playing their selection of songs.
The spokesperson said the following:
"It went really well, the sun shone and The Mayor gave us a lovely introduction. We also had a really big audience who demanded an encore!"
Blue Sky Big Band specialises in performing traditional Big Band swing music, popular jazz and even some rock & roll.
They consist of over twenty passionate, amateur musicians featuring four sections: saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section.
