The long arm of the law was a little shorter than usual at this year's Crowthorne Summer of Fun - as children had the chance to dress up as officers, who praised the community for their engagement with Thames Valley Police's work.
PCSO Kennedy and PCSO Paine attended the Crowthorne Summer of Fun event organised by Crowthorne Parish Council at the Morgan Recreation Ground, Crowthorne, on August 13.
A spokesperson for the local Bracknell and Wokingham police team said: "The officers handed out freebies and allowed kids to try on various pieces of police uniform.
"(It was an) opportunity for the community to meet some of their local police team members and raise any concerns that matter most to them."
The summer event saw a variety of stalls from community groups, an inflatable assault course, and circus performers to entertain the crowds.
The event celebrated its fourth year last week and is expected to return next year.
