A brand-new artisan coffee shop, offering a number of group mentoring sessions and empowering coaching, is set to open in Wokingham.
Sandy Joseph, 47, from West London developed the concept which combines her work as a certified life coach with her years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Coffee & Coach, located in the heart of the Hogwood Industrial Estate, will offer a relaxing environment for personal growth and development.
Sandy spoke to the News describing what customers can expect when they walk into the new café.
She said: “The idea developed after I started a group coaching session in my home for women who were interested in meeting with other women to talk about things that they were finding difficult over a cup of coffee.
“I’ve always been attracted to people who are having problems and one thing that I’ve learned is that a lot of people are lonely. I thought that with my experience in hospitality, I wanted to develop a wellbeing hub.
“I am planning on holding evening sessions, which will include workshops by business coaches, marketing coaches, menopause experts so there will be a diverse range of services that will benefit many people.”
The vintage-inspired café with a classic interior is currently under construction and set to open on September 23.
Alongside mentoring and coaching group sessions, the business is hoping to partner with the mental health institute in Wokingham in order to reach the wider population.
The café has also been given an alcohol licence, for people wishing to join others in a relaxing atmosphere after work.
